- My dad (there have been rocky times, but he's always supported me, been there for me, and he even reads my stories - sometimes several times. I don't know what I'd do without him.)
- My sister and her family (she and my nephews make me laugh, and my brother-in-law is great for talking computers with)
- My best friend (I've known her since I was ten, and she's always there for me to talk to if I need her. She's believed in my writing from the very beginning, and has always encouraged me in it.)
- My job (I'm very thankful I'm employed doing something I enjoy)
- My writing (it lets me visit some amazing worlds, meet interesting characters, and takes me out of myself for a while)

Just spent it with family, eating and watching football. Last weekend of college football's regular season, so getting my fix right now.
I think a day of gratitude is good for all nations. Even better if we can keep that spirit all year long.
This is a wonderful thanksgiving list! And how wonderful that you have a job that you enjoy! My daughter invited us to go to Disneyland with her and her husband's family, and we got in for free with a guest pass! That was so much fun and the holiday decorations and fireworks were awesome! And I went on my first upside down roller coaster. That was a first and and a last! Ha-ha!
What a great list, that is what mine would look like too. Laughter is my key to enjoying life and getting through.
That's a great list, and it's always good to take a moment and be thankful for things.
For Thanksgiving here, we went to my grandpa's for dinner. :)
Alex: I agree about the day of gratitude. It's good to take stock and appreciate what we have.
Lyn: Disneyland! What a great way to spend the day. That sounds like such a lot of fun!
Amie: Sounds like a good philosophy to me.
Cherie: Family dinners are great, aren't they? Everyone gathered around the table... I can remember some of those. Hope you had a lovely day.
